Anti-Spam Algorithm Launched By Google

Online PR News – 12-March-2011 –In regards to the early announcement of Google about the several Algorithmic changes that they would be applying against spamming this year, the first update has recently been released. This new algorithmic update focuses on dealing with content farms which are basically sites with low quality content that are only used to scrape out contents from other sites for higher ranking purposes. Another form of content farms are sites that are made solely for the purpose of spamming AdSense ads.
Changes with the New Algorithm
Significantly different results from search queries are the main changes that this new algorithm has for searchers. Although it is less than 0.5%, in the overall net effect, users would still be able to notice the changes on the results of their search queries. It would still be ensured however that users would be seeing more of the sites that have original content in them compared to the ones that have scraped or copied contents from other sites.

If your site does have scraped contents or contain a lot of spammed AdSense ads then you can expect that your site would have quite a difficult time in ranking and getting indexed by Google from now on.
Current Issues with the New Algorithm
There are recent reports from a lot of site owners about some problems with the new algorithm that Google has recently released.
In an online discussion involving various site owners as well as Search Engine Optimization Experts, issues regarding original sites that suffered the effects of the algorithm have been brought up. The problem was that low quality sites were still ranking high while sites that do contain original content were the ones suffering the effects of the new algorithm.
Some of the website owners even mentioned that 100% content or good backlinks did not seem to matter and were all basically ignored by the new algorithm.
Changes that You May Need on Your Site:
It is a fact that Google does not like to see spams coming from your sites and that is why it is really important that you check your site for it and eliminate them immediately. As a simple reminder, for you to last long on the Google rankings your site needs to have:
1.High quality content
2.Pages that are optimized and contains information that provides value to visitors going in it.
3.Have Good backlinks
If you do not want Google to come knocking down the doors of your business then any search engine optimization expert should know proper requirements that Google needs for their sites to stay on the rankings.
